🕯 O Fim de Uma Era: Obrigado, Black Sabbath!

Quem acompanha o mundo do Heavy Metal sabe: neste fim de semana aconteceu o último show da formação original do Black Sabbath, com Ozzy, Tony, Geezer e Bill, e também a última apresentação ao vivo de Ozzy Osbourne.

A influência de Ozzy e do Sabbath na No Void Shelter é profunda. Vai muito além do som: está na forma como pensamos nossas músicas, nos temas que escolhemos, e também na história pessoal de cada um de nós. Foi ali que tudo começou — onde aprendemos o que é Heavy Metal e decidimos seguir esse caminho.

O que somos hoje tem raízes no som que eles criaram nos anos 70, e que evoluiu ao longo das décadas, desde o primeiro álbum como Black Sabbath até a brilhante carreira solo de Ozzy, que revelou músicos e guitarristas que também nos inspiram até hoje.

Sem o Sabbath, talvez a No Void Shelter nem existisse — assim como tantas bandas que admiramos. Eles nos ensinaram que dá pra fazer música densa, emocional e autêntica. Que é possível ser sombrio e ainda assim humano. Que, por meio da arte, podemos denunciar a ganância e os erros de quem está no poder e expressar a dor e a resistência de quem sente na pele.

Com o fim anunciado, o que fica é o legado. Já são imortais, seguirão ensinando, influenciando e inspirando novas gerações. E nós temos orgulho de carregar essa tocha, ao lado de outras bandas e músicos que também bebem dessa fonte.

Anyone following the world of Heavy Metal knows: this weekend marked the final show of the original Black Sabbath lineup, with Ozzy, Tony, Geezer, and Bill — and also Ozzy Osbourne’s last live performance.

The influence of Ozzy and Sabbath on No Void Shelter runs deep. It goes far beyond sound — it’s in how we think about our music, in the themes we explore, and in the personal history of each of us. That’s where it all began — where we first learned what Heavy Metal truly is and chose to walk this path.

What we are today is rooted in the sound they created back in the '70s and kept evolving through the decades — from the very first Black Sabbath album to Ozzy’s brilliant solo career, which also brought to light musicians and guitarists who have inspired us immensely.

Without Black Sabbath, No Void Shelter might not even exist — nor would many of the bands we admire. They showed us that it’s possible to create music that’s heavy, emotional, and true to who you are. That you can be dark and still human. That through music, we can speak out against injustice and the power structures that affect us all.

Now that the end is official, what remains is the legacy. They are already immortal — continuing to teach, influence, and inspire generations to come. And we are proud to carry that torch forward, alongside so many other bands and musicians who were also shaped by their sound.
